Warnings for Buyers and Sellers alike

This is a business involving large quantities of money and the same revenues provide incentives for many shady parties who wish to spend their futures in sunny places. We come consistently across documents which are either misleading, distorting facts or represent downright fraud, deception and/or forgery.

For the record; we do not wish to associate ourselves or deal with any scheming party and recommend all buyers and sellers to do their own due diligence.

We however recognize the following aspects which make the process of due diligence especially for buyers at times extremely difficult:

• This is a seller's market, not a buyer's market even if there are good buyer offers from time to time. The sellers have the most sought after commodity in their hands for which the world is running out of. They are not in a hurry and do not need please the customer/buyer which would be the case in just about any other market where finding a buyer takes an effort. In the oil markets it is the buyer competing for a reliable seller, not vice versa.
• Based on the earlier, the sellers must increase their security measures against all kinds of threats and trying to find information on the seller is easier said than done and the buyer may need to take risks and expose themselves quite far in the process and what guarantees the buyer they have not given their information to a fake seller?
• As far as Advanced Business Management Ltd is concerned, we attempt to do our own due diligence on all parties and aim to be trustworthy in our dealings. However there are times when we are also perplexed by information we encounter in the markets and cannot assume the final responsibility for the decisions of buyers and sellers for themselves.
• Advanced Business Management Ltd will not make any statements on the condition of a possible buying or selling source with whom we have no case history or coming from a verifiable and authoritative source (like a public press statement or very big national oil company like Lukoil or Gazprom). Neither do we divulge any information which has been trusted into our care.
