Advanced Business Principles

We have guiding values at Advanced but our greatest concentration in on principles which also guide our values. To make this all comprehensible, let's describe the principles first:

Principles are defined by 4 attributes:

1) they are self-evident meaning that they make sense just like gravity which we witness on a daily basis keeping our feet on the ground or water flowing downward,

2) they are eternal meaning that there is never a moment in time when they should be void,

3) they are omnipresent meaning that there is no place they are excluded from and most importantly,

4) they produce predictable results meaning that they can be counted on and therefore should guide all our decision-making and activities.

Most often we grow so accustomed to principles that we only notice them if they from our perpective are missing (even if they are not) or we face them from an unusual perspective (remember your first swim or parashoot-jump, the self-evident, eternal and omnipresent gravity was there all along pulling you towards the surface or water or ground producing predictable results but you wished for the moment not deal with it so intimately).

If we align ourselves and our activities to be principle-based, principles guarantee our results and we can enjoy the predictable outcome.

Principles we strive to abide by:

  • At Advanced our primary business principle upon which we base everything else is win-win. When we enter into transactions with another party there are 4 possible outcomes: 1) Win-win meaning everyone will enjoy some results or positive outcomes in the end, 2) win-lose meaning I find someone to exploit and my gain is their loss, 3) lose-win meaning I'm nice, sacrifice to my detriment and allow myself to be exploited and most likely will be and 4) lose-lose which is just plain sick to begin with as it represents both parties intertwined in a sick symbiosis. Observing the four possibilities it becomes apparent that whatever is not win-win, will eventually be lose-lose.
  • With win-win in place, we can strive for high-level of trust to increase mutual collaboration and synergies.
  • As we advance synergistically a goal is to add value, this has a process of its own.
  • When everyone is winning and value keeps adding, is there any reason anyone should stay poor?
  • As life changes, we need to be looking consistently our principles are up to date.
